We make Portals as easy to configure and deploy as they are to use. How It WorksPhurnace can interrogate the Portal server and create an abstraction of all of its unique settings. The abstraction is used to create a package of objects that can then be moved throughout your environment. Phurnace compares the objects in the package to the objects that exist on the target server, and makes the changes necessary to configure and deploy those objects correctly. In other words, Phurnace provides fully automated, contextual configurations and deployments with zero scripts and manual intervention. Our product has the intelligence to include any dependencies in the package. You no longer have to manually hunt for dependencies and discover them for yourself. Phurnace also fully leverages the embedded Portal management tools to streamline the updating process (i.e., XMLAccess, ReleaseBuilder and Personalization management). In addition, that initial abstraction can be systematically compared between servers to quickly identify differences or issues that are impacting performance. This makes Application Release Automation a “must have” diagnostic tool for any system administrator responsible for Portal servers.
